Dan is an insights professional, writer and consultant with more than 15 years’ experience at the intersection of sustainability, strategy and stakeholder communications. His work has spanned multiple continents, working with and for organisations of all sizes, from entrepreneurial impact enterprises to global firms.
Most recently, at EY, Dan's key areas of focus included exploring regenerative systems and cultures, scaling impact entrepreneurship, and sparking internal conversation around the future of sustainability leadership and consulting — a common thread being his belief in the critical distinction between positive and necessary progress on sustainable development.
Dan combines the magic of storytelling with the logic of a future-back approach to strategy to illuminate and encourage the mindset and business model shifts needed to build a more just and regenerative future.
Geoff is an entrepreneur whose experience spans sustainability consulting, high-tech startups, corporate communications and academic research.
Geoff holds a PhD in artificial intelligence, and has co-founded two software businesses. The second of these was acquired by a global technology company, where Geoff went on to serve as marketing director for three years.
Geoff switched careers in 2010, joining London-based think-tank SustainAbility, and for four years he led the communications team and advised some of the world’s biggest corporations on sustainable business models. In so doing he realised that there was no reliable way to measure how sustainable a company is, and how much more it needs to do, and he wanted to fix that. So in late 2013 Geoff left to set up Future-Fit Foundation, where he led development of the Future-Fit Business Benchmark and served as CEO until May 2022.
